Purchased Epson TW6000 (Epson 3010):

New Epson TW6000 3D projector delivered yesterday and with no delay we set the projector in our living room and beam it on the fade away pink colored wall. I connect my 3 year old Xtremer media player which do not contain 1.4 HDMI port to projectors HDMI input and powered it up. Beforehand I own IMAX Hubble Side by Side 3D in my portable HD and hit the play button in the remote. The movement I wear the active shutter glasses - bang. Watching those amazing 3D effects blew me away. Below are my opinions:

1-pleasant looking white colored unit shipped with carefully packed in double carton.
2- plug and play.
3- Factory settings are perfect. you can keep the unit anywhere you want to and beam it. Unit will instinctively fix the horizontal aspect level.
4-Nice and easy responding back lit remote.
5-No need to buy any 3D media player or 3D Bluray player if you are on downloading from torrents. Your old media player is enough to source the contents to the projector. This genius device will take care of the rest.
6-It support almost all the video file and 3D rips in SBS,Top-Bottom and real 3D.
7- It has decent built in stereo speakers.

Picture quality?Note: I was testing the projector in our living room which has fade up pink colored wall.
1- Being a pixel freak I started looking for the image resolution and I was surprised to see the brilliant Video while the one light was lit up in the hall. The Image quality, contrast and brightness were identical to parallel operational my old Philips 42 inches LCD.
2- Yesterday I saw Panasonic 65 inches Neo Plasma and believe me the 3D figure and effects of this projector is far better than plasma even though my trial setup placed in such a bad place.
3- All DVD rips and Blue Ray rip either 720 or 1080P source with merely 1.5GB file size look remarkable.
4- The Blacks are excellent thats why 2.39:1 cinemascope got top and bottom black bar but trust me you will not become aware of it.
5- 16:9 in my Tata sky HD looks awesome.
6- The show becomes dazzling as soon as I turn off all the lights.

My dedicated Home Theater will be complete by 20th of March. I repacked the projector and tested my new Marantz 6006 with Klipch Quintents and 12 inches Klipchs Sub.
Will post picture once my theater will all set and geared up.

Thanks to rajdeep for his brilliant negotiation for this projector. I bought this product from Epson India with bill and warranty. The projector cost me 1.11 with two pair of glasses all inclusive of Vat and other taxes.

Sorry to cut in for you doc but as I am a bit privy to this info I think I can answer this question...
@ srenijt Raman & myself were trying to start a group buy for this projector ... Raman got a final rate of 1.12 lacs with 2 3D glasses... As I had gotten a rate of 1.05lacs in mumbai he was able to renegotiate to a final price of 1.10 lacs with 2 3D glasses in his locality ( bilaspur) as he did not want to go through the process of getting the projector transported from mumbai even though it was cheaper there... You too can use this tactic to negotiate in ur city & in the worst case senerio is they don't lower the price & you order it from mumbai for 1.05 lacs...

Thanks dranil

Hi Raman, thanks for ur feedback on TW 6000, even I purchased same few days back. It's awesome like you have mentioned. I'm still setting it up in my home theater room. You have mentioned that it does not require any dedicated 3D player to play 3D content, I tried playing a downloaded 3D movie in my HTPC. The PJ did not support it. I do not have a 3 D player. I have Sony BDP S370 which does not support 3D, I guess. Could you please advise what type of downloaded 3D file did you try on PJ?
