pure sine wave inverter back up good for home theater system?

Hi, I am Subrata from Gurgaon. Excited to join hifivision.

Need guidance on following...

my back up need is 1200 watt. Denon AV Receiver & Cambridge Audio Stereo Amplifier.

Can I opt for pure sine wave inverter instead of line interactive UPS?

Or online UPS is a must?

Grateful if veterans can advise

pure sinewave will still have fluctuations. You can see how our lights bulbs etc. fluctuate on inverter, not a good idea

IMO power back up is not needed for audio gears. Good voltage stabiliser, isolation transformer with a high quality surge protector is the best approach. I use a servo stab and isolation transformer with surge protector and a DIY emi/rf filter. Had one PA board and speaker tweeter failure through out my Audio journey.
