Query on Old Receiver

Gentlemen:

My office mate asked me about this:

- How and Where can he use/connect his TS8 Sub in his old receiver without dedicated LFE (sub pre-out)?
- Is it possible?
- It's an old yamaha receiver with 5 channels but no sub pre-out.

Xela:

Some more details of the AVR and sub may help. for example if it has a A & B speakers, and the B speakers are not used, they can he connected to the sub.

If that does not help, can you ask your colleague to send us a photo of AVR connectors and his subwoofer connectors?
