Receiver for Wharf 10.7 floors ?

Hi, Please advice a AV receiver for wharfedale 10.7 floors, was looking for Marantz as Music is my prime criteria but am open to suggestions... the 6009 is stretching my budget...

I plan to expand the 2 wharf floors into a full home theater system as & when I can...

any advice on the speakers & receiver is much appreciated, thanks in advance. :licklips:

nope, haven't bought anything yet, wanted something to start in 70k area, but the 10.7 cost as much..still 1 lack can stretch budget to...

either I finally buy 2 towers & an AVR to start assembling the system to begin with & slowly build it to a full home theater or do a temp job & get a yamaha 5.1 or something for now... are my options...

You said music is your main criteria.. So i guess you want to use your AVR for both movies/music....

If you could tell us the abt room dimensions - Length x width

10.7 might be too huge for your room.... If 6009 is stretching your budget, consider getting 6008...

Consider BS for few reasons...

* AVR in 2 channel mode will have more power (80 ~ 90 W cont power) to what a BS demands (60 - 80W)

* BS Speakers will be at the mercy of the AVR for both music/movies..

* Doesn't take much space, easy to move around for optimal performance...

* Consider BS with wall mountable options...

wow what a coincidence... I ordered 6009 & 10.2 BS today & now saw your reply... I got 6009 cause I plan to build full FS etc system later...

Finally got the delivery , could you give a road map as to what next should I purchase in making it a 5.1 system so I can plan accordingly...

also which sub would be suitable if I am to go for the jade or diamond FS ?
