Repair / new Remote for HIMEDIA 600 - Powai

Hi All,
My friend's Himedia 600 HD Player remote has stopped working. Can any FMs direct me to a repair shop or a store selling a new remote in Mumbai - preferably near Powai area.

If you can't find a replacement then buy a logitech harmony remote. Himedia devices are listed in their database and you can easily configure it.

Thanks baijuxavior. What is the cheapest Logitech remote cost?
I did think of Logitech but was hesitating due to the cost of the remote vs the original cost of Himedia which is only 7K.

Jagdish, you can try getting it repaired in most shops that repair audio video stuff. A new himedia remote not available in Mumbai. I know cause I tried. My himedia remote too developed problems but I managed to get it repaired at Lamington Road as I was in that area but most audio video pair people can manage to repair. Hunt for a repair shop in Powai. I am sure they will be able to do it.

I have ordered the Logitech remote on e bay. Dint realize they were available at such low rates. The Logitech site does not list this model ( Probably discontinued) and the lowest on their site is listed at $80.
Yes I will also try and get my old remote repaired.

What a sad coincidence! I am on the verge of sending BOTH my hi media 600 player AND remote to Raghu from Detna as both have stopped working!

First the remote died, then player started giving I/O errors randomly and finally the VFD buttons stopped responding.

What do you guys suggest ? Any help locally in Mumbai or courier it to Detna ?

Hi,
Just wanted to know if the Harmony 200 or 300 have Quad codes? My Quad Lite sub remote is damaged.
The Harmony 200 is Rs 845 on Ebay and Rs 2149 on Flipkart. It's $27.50 on amazon.com. Will it be safe from Ebay? How is their price so low?

Not sure about the Sub. Check on the below site of Harmony to see if your component exists ( I could see a quad Amp but not a sub)
