Replacement Tweeters for B&W DM603 S3

Hello All,

Recently I have purchased a pre owned B&W DM603 S3 floor standing speakers. But during transport both the tweeters of the speaker got damaged completely. Can you please suggest from where I can get the replacement tweeters for this model? Your valuable inputs will be a great help for me.

The B&W distri ofcourse will be able to provide but do be ready to spend as they are costly

It happend due to horrible handling by the courier company...professional courier to be precise...however packing was not, but the courier company managed to do that somehow...thanks a lot for the above links...i will contact them asap...

In the B&Ws, the tweeters are the life line. You are going to be spending a pretty good amount for the tweeters. Check E-bay, of course B&W directly if they will ship the tweeters and cost etc.

Take the courier company to task, go to the consumer forum or complaint for damages etc. Do not let the courier company walk free.

Had to replace the pair in my B&W recently, and yes they are expensive. Your authorised centre will certainly be the best bet. Alternatively, you could get them online (ebay, other sites) for approx 200$ and get someone to replace them for you.

They are certainly not cheap, but I feel worthy enough componentry. I find the DM603s3 to be an extremely engaging pair of speakers provided: Bit perfect source files, Some solid wattage (a must!) in amplification, Good cabling and...your jaw will drop when you hear them sing . Weight, Detail, Nuance,.. a fantastic set of speakers indeed IMHO

if the damage is to the paper cones, they could be reconed. pl chech with one of our fm sidewinder who has been doing the reconing using imported paper.
