Hi,
I always preferred nice big floor-standers and for small setup at least a decent bookshelf speakers. But while setting up our new bedroom audio, my wife objected to a 'visible' setup.
Fortunately, to cover a 4-inch pillar we had to create a 5-inch deep wooden wall padding. This created a 8ft x 10ft - 5 inch deep box. I used this opportunity to install in-wall speakers. Being a long time polk user, I went with Polk RC85i. I paired it with Norge 2060. The speakers are installed 6ft apart right above the TV.
I was bit sceptical about the sound quality. But to my surprise this setup sounds really well. There is good depth in bass, with decent mid and highs.
Thanks
-Rahul.
