My Bose in ear earphones wires worn out completely and recently one side is not working any more . Last time when when copper exposed I got heat shrink tube to make it usable again. Now definitely it needs to be rewired.

I have replaced wires for many earphones, but these buddies are tough to open. Can anyone guide me how to open there phones?

Hi, I too had the same earphones before. I think u can give the faulty ones back and get 30 percent off on a new one, if DIY didn't work out. If you don't care about the brand name, you can spend less than that and get better sound from some other brand. I have MIE2 and klipsch S4i. Though klipsch is not comfortable as Bose, (also poor built, but s6i or something is rugged which I believe sounds the same) sonically they are superior in every aspect, but costs only 4k plus something if m not wrong. Bose was little wider as the drivers stay far from the ear, but still the other one is a better sound.

I was able to open the phones, now I need replacement wires. Any suggestions??

I found Silver strand wire in ebay (imported) seems to be costly.
