Another classic cd from this artist. Mind blowing recording on this SACD. Some call all these recordings souped up(I agree too) but it sounds great and that matters the most.

SHINING LIKE A NATIONAL GUITAR - Paul Simon
Very nice compilation with a good recording.

ESSENTIAL - Alison Krauss
Decent but recording could have been better.

Actually the Avalons may not appeal to a whole lot of people.

So, can I infer that Avalons are laid-back and so do the Accuphase - or is it something else ?

The last album from the pioneers of Death Metal. Chuck Schuldiner sounds very different from his previous albums. The songs are longer. Nuclear Blast, which also distributed Chuck's side project Control Denied's first album "The Fragile Art of Existence" insisted that Death do this one album before the "Control Denied" project.

My favorites - Flesh and the Power it holds, Spirit Crusher, Scavenger of Human Sorrow, Painkiller.
