Awesome music from when I was a kid and hooked on MTV (which played real good music back then)...

Ha ha ... Just got this CD delivered today. Enjoying it right now! Hearing Roxette after almost 20 years and can't believe how good their music is/was. I did not realize how many good numbers they had. Very underrated band.

Love them myself. Have the Joyride album too. Along with Simply Red the best pop/soft rock act of the late 80s to the mid 90s.

She sure could sing. I heard/read somewhere a quote about her... she can sign the bus schedule (or something similar) and make even that sound musical.

You must listen to this. I first heard it in '95 or '96, searched it for many years and finally found it.

A carousel of music from the collection, but primarily coming back to Bela Fleck & the flecktones - Tales from an acoustic planet Vol. 1. Great stuff. Check it out. Cheers.

Must be nice. I have only his collaborations - Tabula Rasa (with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Jie Bing Chen) and The Enchantment (with Chick Corea). He is without doubt an outstanding musician.

As and aside, I finally found Jake Shimabukuro's ukelele rendition of Queen's operatic Bohemian Rhapsody:

But this was what made him famous:

Listening to these numbers on uncompressed flac, and not youtube, is a different experience.

I'm fortunate to have been introduced to her in the 80s as a kid with Eurythmics. Have followed her solo career too. Have both her first solo albums Diva and Medusa... and then she kind of disappeared for a decade. Have not checked out the new albums though.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
