Andreas Vollenweider "White Winds" & "Caverna Magica".
Great harp music.

What has this thread come to? :yahoo:
It was always scarce on New Age content, and I always refrained from posting my New Age listening sessions for the fear of sounding like an idiot.

But now with two successive posts citing two of my all time favourites I can't be happier. Thanks afj and wlg.

So now proudly listening to Amethystium - Aphelion

80 - B.B. King

"Early in the Morning," with Van Morrison "The Thrill Is Gone," with Eric Clapton are gems in this great album.

In The Heart of The Moon - Ali Farka Toure & Toumani Diabate

Creative improvisation by two greatest musicians on guitar and kora.

listen to some new age stuff on and off. used to listen to a lot more of it while i was younger. one of my favourites is deep forest, esp their album boheme.

ps. and dont worry about what you post. each to his own. its good to get new stuff on this thread since members get introduced to different music

Hey, who needs electronics attached to keyboards?

ok ok... you need them if you don't happen to have a huge building and a vast amount of money to spend on something unimaginably mechanically complex to blow an enormous amount of air through.

It's a brief demo of a big cathedral organ. I think the language is German, but it isn't necessary to understand the words.

There are quiet a number of pieces on YouTube recorded on that particular magnificient Paris organ, included an improvised fugue? Improvised fugue? who has the brain to that, eh? Well, one guy, at least. And Bach did apparently.

The clips are great, but the sound is not good. The clip in the previous post has good quality (well, better at least) and shows the amazing variety of sounds.
