Inner Sanctum - Provenance

Inner Sanctum won the I-Rock 2009 competition on Saturday, 3rd October 2009. This is a four track compilation from the Bangalore based Thrash - Death Metal band. I bought this album at the venue. Cost is just 100 bucks. The album cover is well designed, and also has the lyrics in the inlay.

All 4 songs are performed very well. The track mastering is clean, and rivals some of the imported ones too. Gaurav has a great voice for Death Metal, and this has to be one of the bands to watch out for on the Indian Metal Scene.

I have listened to the album just once. Will probably post a more detailed review in due course.

If u guys like Pavarotti ( I DO) and like the Duets then please get the
GREATEST HITS -PAVAROTTI by Decca (polygram). Its an import with better recording than the Duets for sure. In the Duets album the track 'My way' with Frank Sinatra is really good.
Just got 'Get Lucky' the new Mark Knopfler album and initial impressions are all good. Have reached Track 4 only but its a bit like 'Kill to get crimson'. Will hear it twice tonight and have a better idea/opinion.

pavarotti is good but too much of that sort of music i cant handle. the other guys on duets break it up for me a bit.

i need to get a few more (or all of mark knopfler). did a marathon of him the other night - ragpickers dream, shangri-la and all the road running. i could never pick a favourite singer when people would ask me. but after listening to him i can
