RIP Bhaskar Menon

With a little more reading I realised how big he was!
Global head of EMI worldwide and all its subsidiaries including Capitol Records, credited with turning around the financially troubled Capitol records, direct operating responsibility for all EMI subsidiaries in 25 countries, credited for the success of Pink Floyd and Dark Side of the Moon, the Concert for Bangladesh album, associated with and respected by some top bands including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Queen, Jack Jersey, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, Tina Turner, Anne Murray, Peggy Lee, Paul McCartney & Wings, Duran Duran, Nancy Wilson, Iron Maiden, Diana Ross, Bob Seger, Carole King, and Steve Miller.

Now, that's Big Time to me! Just that those days we didn't make a fuss about persons of Indian Origin achieving global success ;)
