S16NI TS parameters

The Vas seems to be missing on the datasheet. I am also considering them for a 2 way bookshelf but unable to design a vented box. Let me know if you have any luck finding the Vas for the driver

Its very easy to measure them using software with zero expense.

Sir,
can you elaborate it more,
it can even be helpful if the all the experiance members could create some sticky thread in diy section of tools that are useful for new members

Again, i will tell your Aniruddha, dont go by any published parameters of Peerless. They are atleast 20% different from measured.

Its very easy to measure them using software with zero expense.

Hi Hari,
I will surely measure TS parameter this time before designing a box.
Thanks.

I will not suggest this method as its very tedious and not accurate too as there are too many constraints to consider. I use to use this method 10 years ago.
Instead will suggest the very easy REW freeware for the same.

Cheers,

Many Thanks for a very useful information again.

Even though Peerless is a whole lot better than most other Indian brands, their driver data is scarce, unavailable, and in some cases quite suspect.
They also have very quirky out-of-band performance and require early or steep crossovers.
None of these characteristics are served by 'off-the-shelf' crossovers, which are at best some kind of frequency cut-off filters, and will behave differently with different drivers.
Given the circumstances, it's better to build a proven and measured design if you are not going to measure it yourself.
