^Its because the sony is a grey model piece where as the panasonic comes with official warranty.
Well i would go with EX300 but not the BX300.The BX SD quality & motion is inferior to the EX300.
the BX300 costs 24k in the grey market and 19k in countries like sg,my,th.

Hmm...Is buying from a grey market safe?

Well the tvs sell like hot cakes in the grey market,of the 5 tvs i myself have bought in the grey market ranging from CRTs to lcds,none have had any repairs for atleast 7 years after purchase.
my friends and relatives have also bought tvs from the grey market again no issues,company like sony only gives only 1 year warranty.

offcourse it also depends on your luck if you get a lemon,no choice but to repair it.
