Today I bought the Samsung 32B530 coz I played the same stuffs in Samsung and LG and Samsung looked much much prominent even the LG (IPS panel) looked whiter from the sides but Samsung looks the same from the side. Now, I have a problem. The problem is with the video. I'm connecting the TV with the PC which has 512MB Radeon HD3650 GPU.

1. When I connect the TV with VGA, I get 1920x1080 @ 60HZ and it's all fine.

2. When I connect the TV with HDMI, the picture quality dramatically changes but the resolution gets to 1680x1050 @ 60HZ.

3. When I try to raise the resolution to 1920x1080 @ 59HZ, everything is overlapping. Like 1 My Computer is ovelapping on another like double letters and icons and the screen size changes, seems it's not supporting.

4. When I try the 1920x1080 @ 60HZ, everything becomes ok but the screen size becomes small horizontally and vertically. I see black borders of 2" vertically and horizontally. Like we see panned black borders in movies horizontally.

Now, the manual shows that I should get 1920x1080 @ 60HZ when connected to PC. Now, is there anything that I need to do ? Is this a problem with Windows 7 ? I haven't tried it on Win Serv 2003, will soon download graphics driver and see if the problem persists in Win Serv 2003. Now, I didn't see any problem during the bootup, the problem emerges from the logon screen. I've connected the TV with a Logitech HDMI cable and a DVI - HDMI converter. Did you guys face any similar problem like this ? Is there any problem with the TV or it's a driver problem or GPU problem ? Or I'm supposed to get this kinda picture, the what's the point of Full HD ?

Unscaled ? Sorry for being noob. I get full picture in 1680x1050 @ 60Hz. and I get scaled picture (2" black borders from all sides) in 1920x1080 @ 60Hz.

I have read few Samy,Sony & my philips manual which says select LCD aspect ratio to unscaled(like Zoom, 4:3,widezoom etc)Then turnon PC & read manual what says.If your Samy can take 1080p,then follow accordingly.

I m lucky with Phil ,the manual says it cant accept 1080p from PC even connected via HDMI,but my LCD accepts.

This is what I'm getting.....

After a friend suggested me about overscanning, I'm getting this in 1920x1080

But whenever I restart, I get the same problem. My manual says, the optimal resolution is 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. And the whole guide is given for Win XP. I'm running Win 7. I tried with Win Serv 2003 but there is a problem with the driver so I can't check in Win Serv 2003. may be I'll try Win XP.

Try original drivers provided with GC.Check graphic settings & colour as it shld be 32bit.
