Samsung 40F6100 or Sony KDL-42W650 ?

Which tv among Samsung 40F6100 or Sony KDL-42W650 has better pq and more long life?
I want to keep the tv for atleast 3-4 years.

Based on pure specs alone the Samsung is ahead. But specs don't mean much. Do a demo and decide what you like better

i have the exact same dilemma. i ended up with these 2 LCDs, help me too. according to the reviews this is what i concluded.
> sony w650, the blacks are not as deep as the samsung f6100.
> the PQ of sony is better than samsung but only the HD videos.
> there is pixelation while viewing SD videos( most tv channels) on sony. samsung seems to be better in this case.
> no 3d in sony ( i dont think this is a prob for me)

ps: sony w650 looks cool even when switched off. i kinda like that.

so what do you guys think ? which one should i go for ?
