I am planning to buy a 40/42" LED TV and I am very much confused b/w Sony's R482b and Samsung's J5500.

Sony has semi-smart tv with built-in wifi, fm radio but no smart app features whereas Samsung has smart tv on offer with all smart features, plus special cricket, movie sound modes.

On checking the tv at store, I found Samsung's display quality far better than Sony, LG. It had more natural colours than Sony. Both tvs looked good from wide viewing angles. Is it really true or the shopkeeper had set display settings accordingly since he was adamant on purchasing Samsung ?

Samsung's sound quality was better and more authentic than Sony.

Moreover, due to seasonal offer, Samsung is providing 1+1=2 yr. warranty and additional discount.

I am very much confused, so any bit of help will be immensely useful.

Picture quality, USB compatibility and wifi access is foremost important. Smart apps don't matter much to me.

I watch sports channels a lot as well. Didn't found too much motion blur in Samsung as reported by few users in older models. Is it a concern ?
