Is sansui S 81 U a good buy? what is the best matching amplifier for this speaker system?

Check the speaker properly. Look for any discoloration of the driver cones, any cracks or tears in the surrounds. These speakers are not new and so it depends on the condition they are in and the price at which they are being offered, to make them a good buy.

I have heard many Sansui speakers but not this model and my general impression was of muddled bass. Most them were being used with lower models of Sansui amps. My suggestion would be to listen to them before buying and make a complete check.
