Hello all,

First time poster here.

Im setting up a new den/recreation room and would like to add a 5.1(ideally5.2) system. I have narrowed it to the following choices.

1. Klipsch f1 5.1 speaker package, although i feel the c1 center is a bit under powered and can opt for the c2 or even the complete f2 setup.

2. Mission m34i/m35i with m31i/m32i as surrounds with the m3c2i center and mission ms-10 sub.

Id like to hear the pro's and con's of either setup.

Ive heard the klipsch but not the missions as demo's for the same are not available in delhi but have still taken those into consideration since missions are well respected in their given price range on the forum.

Please suggest a receiver for either of those speaker sets, and your reason for doing so.

My usage is primarily movies, with the occasional loud music for drunken gatherings. lol

To split it the way ive seen it done on this forum, 90% movies 10% music.

I also intend to add a pair of additional speakers as zone 2 for the bar, so i need a reciever that has zone two outs (can add an amp here later if it increases the cost of the receiver too much for powered zone 2.)

Please consider these, the rantings of a newbie and forgive any unintentional mistakes.

your comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Go for the Klipsch F2 Speakers 5.1 Combo, fantastic speakers but mind you they cost 1.06 lacs... pls go & audition them, i am sure you won't be disappointed...
As for the avr, may the other knowledgeable HT fans enlighten you on the same....
Have heard the mission's m35i combo & wasn't to excited with them, though they pair well with a denon 1910 avr.... I felt they were a bit laid back hence did not like them. Audition them as well & decide what sounds good to you. Cost factor wise the mission m35 combo & denon 1910 pairing should be around 1.2l atleast as last heard in mumbai.
