From my online research, HD20 is out of league compared to w6000 or hc3800. Among w6000 and hc3800, see here Mitsubishi HC3800 Projector - Competitors
Benq is better (brighther if you need and has lens shift), but also pricier. How are you managing it within 1lac? Its about $2k at amazon.

Epson 8100 should be comparable with hc3800.

Manu if you could stretch your budget up a little to say 1.25L then you could get yourself a Panasonic Pt Ae3000 or 4000 projector, which is a great full HD projected and has a very good reputation.

1) with 1L i would rule out HD20/Vivi1080fd.
2) epson pro cinema1080 is a older 2008 LCD, if i m not mistaken..so epson 8100 should outscore over it.
3) epson 8100 is rated lesser in PQ w.r.t to mits 3800 (for a light controlled room, room with ambient light - 8100 outscores as it has better placement flexibility and better lumens)
4) benq w6000 is better than mits 3800, but comparable to pana4000 (depends how strongly you feel about LCD vs DLP, mind u benq 6000 is a good 500$ more than pana). This wont fall under 1L category.
5) infocus x10 is good but cannot be rated over benq6000 or pana4000, plus a serious disadvantage is long throw, for a 120" you need to set this at around 20', plus expensive around 2200$ and disconitued now
6) Pana is the best under 1L with all features and black levels + 120hz.

Conclusion: If you can bypass import duty/customs/any other expenses the 2000$ pana = 93kINR is the best..
Sharp 15000DLP should also be there in ur list 1700$
next comes the Mits 3800 1250$ or Epson 8100 1400$ or benq w5000(out of production now -not sure on price)
next viewsonic pro8100 - 1200$ (older 2008 model)
next the hd20 vivi1080

hey bro i'll try to make up my mind for benq w6000 which is very bright and also has good placement flexibity i can strectch my budget for more 20 to 50 thou. if you brothers give me just one awesome projector please don't tell me to buy panasonic its not bright enough

Manu if you like the performance of Benq then go for it but I would also point out that Panasonic is a very bright projector specially 3000 onwards with 1600 lumens brightness, have you ever taken a demo of it, with your comment I am little confused. I am using Panasonic Pt 1000 which is rated at 1100 lumens and I find it very bright. Ultimately its you who has to use the projector so better believe your eyes rather then mere reviews or suggestions.
