I opened up a soft dome mid - dynaudio md140/2. It had a voice coil grind.
These are some pics just for someone who may be wondering. It has a 76mm voice coil. Massive, biggest mid ever made by dynaudio as per what someone told me.
I got a few more pics, I'll email to whoever is interested.
But the VC gap had ferro fluid in it, I cleaned it all out and found a lot of junk. This one had voice coil grind. Hopefully I can re assemble it all and it will be fine.
