leave the review...if it is priced at 21k..then it is as good as firangi DACS worth 40k to 50k..
and you are based at mumbai..so you can have audition at sonodyne showroom or hifi mart..

Yes... I heard them today for a good 2 hrs @ my friends place....I must say they sounded amazing....Superb midrange & exceptionally detailed....

which DAC's did you compare it to ?

Nope..No comparison...We tried it out to see if it was making a good pairing with the speakers (2605)...

24/96 USB class 1.0 only. Also power supply is a wall wart. For the asking price, Asus gives you a linear PSU and proper 24/192 async USB. On specs then it is no great shakes.

Performance is something that can only be judged by auditions.

Power supply is thru DC power adaptor... Didn't check the USB... We tried it with a PC (Flac & WAV) with digital out (optical) to this DAC...

I think it is more on the neutral side.... It did sound bright with some songs when you push the volume...But otherwise, this DAC + Pre-amp combo brings the best out of 2605...
