Sonos connect amp speaker selection

Greetings!

Ashok from Chennai. Amazed to see such a a forum. I thought I can get guidance here.

I have a Sonos Connect Amp amplifier with B&W m1 pair of speakers connected to it. I really enjoy this set added with a wired Yamaha subwoofer.


But I feel I need a surround effect as the current setup has 2.1 only and missing some effect slightly while watching movies. I need advice in adding two additional pair of speakers but at a lesser cost. I know that the Sonos amp will support only 8 ohm speakers.

Please guide. And with the new pair of speakers the surround effect will be achieved...?

Is this the first generation connect amp? Or the new sonos amp?

If it’s the sonos AMP, you can add a pair of sonos speakers wirelessly as rears very easily with it. I have done the same with a pair of sonos ones and it works perfectly.
