Sony BDP-S1100 Plays FLAC!

If you check India site, it is silent on FLAC play buy the same model in US plays FLAC. Confused whether this plays FLAC or not. Anyone who has any experience on this?

heliumflight, thanks for the link. Now if only someone can confirm whether it can handle a 1TB hdd it will be a great upgrade for me from my current sony bdp S370.

1TB hard disk should not be an issue as it supports NTFS which is what this disk comes formatted in.

raz 737, that's great news. Where did you purchase it from, how much did it cost and does it support a 1tb Hardisk?

I purchased it from Bajaj electronics for 6300/- but did not check for 1TB support.

ValueChanakya, thanks for the revert. Here is some more info I found on AVSForum (ref post #778) which states NTFS Support and 1 - 2 TB HDD support (but with some limitations)

Basically I am looking for a player where i can play music/photo/video directly from by phone/tablet...whether this player can do this?
