550 is better for SD viewing, I have seen both side by side.
400 is HDready & 550 full HD.For HD viewing both are same.
If you want for only HD/DVD viewing,400 is cheap & good choice.

price is not so much concern.what is the difference between be3 and be2?morover the difference in money is good around 8000

BE3 upscales SD signals (Tata Sky etc.) much better than BE2. Also, featurewise 550 series is better (USB port [No DivX support though], 4 HDMI inputs etc.). If cost is not a constraint, overall the 32V550 would be a better buy and will be future proof too.

well the BE3 primarly improvement is in its upscaling capability.so SD content will be better on the BE3 version.
also why do u want to even go for the older BE2 HD ready V450A series when u can get the BE3 S550A for about the same price.
so u should rather choose b/w S550A and the V550A,the V550A apart from FHD ,it also has a slightly better contrast ratio.

Go ahead with V550A. Any time better than v400.
