Sound problem in avr 142 harmon kardan

There is no sound input via HDMI cables but only through coaxial or optical....i want to connect computer sound in avr 142 there
I bought USB Creative sound blaster X-Fi 5.1 Surround Sound Pro.
Sound card has rca out put and optical, does creative sound card optical
convert the real sound to amplifer.

Use the optical from the sound blaster, will be getting the true o/p for the AVR. this does not support audio via HDMI, u will have to opt for optical or co-axial for ur audio
