Sources for HT and Music duty

Hi All,

As things were added cater HT and Music needs, setup has become complicated to manage and operate, So need opinions on what can be the best solution for below two simple needs.

Current Setup
HT : Intel NUC (openelec) -> Denon AVR -> Projector
Music : Intel based Laptop running Foobar (controlled using android) -> USB DAC -> Stereo Amp

So is there any way to cater above needs using Intel NUC alone, as a headless unit for Audio streaming and controlled via a tab, and the same NUC for HT duty.

I have tried Win 7 + openelec dual boot, although the combination worked, i was not comfortable with the solution.

So need to know what others are using / recommend for above scenario

Have you given Kodi a try

I have tried Kodi, but for Headless operation it would not suit.

so may be the one option is to go to RPi dedicated to Music, but would make the system complex.
