Spam on HifiVision

Thanks Mods. That was swift cleanup action on the recent spam in the CD Thread. That got me thinking for a minute....just kidding

How can an FM help immediately here when he notices such Spam. Just send a PM to any of the moderators? Is there an option to flag spam?

Might be an OT but wanted to check if there is a connection and if anyone else is also having this issue.
I am not able to open HFV website on my system.(using cellphone to post this). This is happening since yesterday and I have tried all the stuff like antivirus, firewall, hosts, etc. But nothing have worked. Is anyone else having this problem too? Feeling very helpless without HFV!!

Hey Saket - Are you trying to access this from a home PC/Laptop or Office PC/Laptop? If its office, HFV site may be blocked.

Also, I am assuming you're trying to access via Internet Explorer. Use another browser like Mozilla and Google Chrome and see if you face the same problem. If you don't face the problem, reinstall IE and that should fix the issue.

I don't think anybody else is facing this problem as I am writing this via a PC as we speak.

Thanks man for coming in. Yes, I'm trying to access it from office as I always did in past. And I am sure it has not been blocked as I can access other forums like TBHP etc. I even contacted Peace sells (Saket) and then I came to know that its an issue isolated to me only.
I have already tried chrome (and IE of course) but for no success. Will try again tomorrow!

Hey no problem Saket. So its clear that's its not a PC or a browser issue. Well your office has figured out that you are most productive on HFV and blocked it

Jokes apart, its clearly being filtered at your office, maybe websense. Try accessing HFV on a colleagues PC. Suggest you uncheck proxy settings in IE and see if you can access. If not, speak to your IT .

Tried connecting through other computers at office. Same issue. Will get hold of the IT guy soon then!
