Hi All,

I have very limited knowledge on AV receivers and speakers. After reading some posts and reviews, I have decided to go with below Home Theater configuration.

AV Receiver: Denon 1912 or Yamaha RX V671
Front: Polk RTI A3
Center: Polk CSI A4
Rear: Polk FXi A4
Sub: Polk SW 125

Is my above configuration is good enough for Music and Movies ?

Is Polk SW125 good enough or should I go for more powered subwoofer ?

Do I need a step down transformer ?

My drawing room size is about 20X15. My budget is around 1 lakh.

Regards,
Sagar

Subwoofer is the weakest link in your selection. If you want to stick with polk check out the new micropro 6xx/1000 series, or you have many choices in other brands like velodyne, hsu and svs subs.

Velodynes have dual voltage selection !!! What do you mean by that ? I am really new to all this :-)

Also suggest me a good Velodyne sub for above configuration.

no...I am buying them here...so if you are buying from US then you have to use step down transformer..now I got your point..thank you..
