Does anyone give some idea about speaker cable gauge. I found sound signature changes with the gauge of the cable with same cable length. Rest of the chain remain same. Thin gauge give better clarity. Thick cable give dull sound with emphasis on low frequency. You may feel that your amp has been replaced.

I dont agree.I have replaced chord clearway speaker cable having good gauge and use Tellurium Q Black 2nd speaker cable which is of smaller gauge in comparison to chord one and the result is awsome. It all depends on the quality and technology of the cable.

There are many threads around cables. Gauge, Core, PVC vs Teflon, Tinned vs untinned, telephone cables, transformer cables, submergible cables, geometry, chemistry, biology etc have been discussed in length when it comes to cable. Please use the search function with some of the keywords that I have provided here to get the specific posts. Beware: you would get entangled in the web of cables.

I would recommend reading the following article

Randomly nothing can be suggested.

Your amplifier specifications, speaker specifications, cable choice etc is important in explaning why it could sound a particular way. If you can share those details , we can find out why you observed what you observed. You could send me a PM with all details.

Very few companies even mention technical specifications of their cables such as resistance, capacitance, inductance, which is stunning considering the price we are made to pay for it.

Yes it is expected. Thinner gauge will perform better. It will give you extreme level of details. Where in thicker gauge these details are being suppressed due to low frequency
reproduction of the speaker.

it's not gauge problem, it's cause of conductor impurity. There fore getting pure coper cable is become great challenge.
choose great trusted brand like OED, Chord etc. but it cost you sky high

I have tried with transformer winding cu wire. That is expected pure cu.
