Hi all
Recently upgraded to lyrita audio horn speakers with conventional base driver and super tweeters ..any ideas/ suggestions for speaker placement and toe in angles etc..my room is about 20 feet by 12 feet

Hi Rupakghosh.80,

Yes, do post pictures of your setup. That will give a better idea of how the speakers interact with the room.

A good starting point is to have symmetrical placement of the speakers in the room - and sit about 12 feet back from them. Toe them in so that the horns axes cross just in front of your listening position.

Well, the radiation patterns of the bass driver and the midrange horn are different. The bass radiation is hemispherical, that of the horn fairly directional. However, the LeCleach flare of the horn releases the wavefront in a uniform radial shape, more symmetrical than in other horns. The blending of the wavefronts is fairly good at the crossover point.

So, playing around with speaker placement is more to get a uniform sound at your listening position.
