I am looking for a pair of speakers to match NAD 375BEE integrated amp to be used in a largish room under INR 2 Lac.

I have tried PSB and didn't like the excessive bass. I want good vocals as the first priority.

Any suggestions as to what I should audition?

Though I haven't auditioned the towers, I have listened to some of the bookshelf speakers from Tannoy, PSB and Wharfedale. Though I personally liked PSB, I was equally convinced with Tannoy DC6 as well. I guess the tower version of DC6 is DC6T and they both might share the same qualities. With Tannoy, I found the vocals to be excellent and highs were also good without being harsh. So you can try the Tannoy series.

if you have a large hall you may also try a totl kit from gr research. cabinets can be built by magma if you are not into diy. another option is magnaplaner etc. i have mmgs lying around. Alas - not able to put them to work.

NAD will pair well with bright speakers like Klipsch or KEF, with high sensitivity.
Klipsch Reference RF-7 II speakers with the horn tweeters will produce good vocals for a largish room like yours. Audition it with the NAD first.

+1 to that, IMO NAD works well with sensitive/bright speakers.

:D Shivam, kindly close this thread since you've already sold the NAD

Poor FM's still replying without knowing that the purpose of this thread is insignificant now.
