I need to connect a pair of speakers to, 2 amplifiers. Could you please suggest a speaker switcher?

Check the DIY section as I believe our FM spiro had made a DIY speaker switcher box using the regular power line switches. I think it suits to your requirements as well.

I would say do an DIY using electrical switches and save money.

This is incorrect for speaker. The link points to line level input single selector, not useful for speakers.
Rather find "4PDT mains switch" for 10A or more current capacity. 25A capacity is welcome. Use that to wire your selection switch.

I have read somewhere that running an amp without load would damage the amp. Is there a way to ensure the amp switches to some dummy load when it is not in loop with the speaker? Using just a switch based selector would not do it.

Use an 4PDT ON-ON switch, its always connected to one of the loads.
