Thinking of phasing out my 4 months old Polk TSi 300 to buy a pair of bookshelves and need your suggestion on what speakers to opt for.
The polks are simply great for the movies (for which they were primarily bought for) but after I sold my HT system and that I've set sights on a decent stereo system, the bar has been raised. The polks are good but not good enough for my preference.
I am not sure how to put words to my preference but I love to feel the harmonics, the symphony in the music. The strings sure please me but the stuff going on at the background, that actually fills up the space is what I want more. The polks are fine with the bass, the mids and the highs but the the rest of it seems to be missing.
I have realized that the Aviaonos gel best with the CA amplifiers so thinking of Aviano 2 (do not have budget for the Aviano 6).
My question goes to the current CA amp owners; What are you guys using with your CA amps ?
Also my source will mostly be my netbook coupled with a decent DAC (the selection is still going on).
(on a side note, lemme know if anyone wants to pickup the polks. I've already had them packed)
