Check the forum I think there is a FM who brought the same amplifier and paired with bookshelf speakers. Not sure which model/brand it was but you will get a good idea looking at the comments on that thread. As the amp is not heavy and smaller in size I think you can carry it for audition based on your short listed speakers.
