Speakers for Pioneer VSX-1020-K 7.1

I have two questions.

1) Wasn't there any problem with the customs guys in India? U brought the product in check-in?

2) If you bought this item in US, what step down transformer are you using for it?

Im trying to get one for myself. Thanks man!!!

Ans 1) You are allowed to bring in dutiable goods worth INR 25k. This will cost around INR 18k ~ 20k. You have to check in as the weight is around 15 Kgs.

Ans 2) You have to buy a step down transformer 220v to 120v at 500 VA, 50 Hz. I bought it from Vishal Electronics at INR 3.2k. They are at SP Road, Bangalore. They do home delivery.

The Bass effect of PSW 110 is good and the sound clarity delivered by the S-426 towers is admirable. Seems to be a good combination for a low budget.

S 426 5.0 package from Modern World = 19.8k INR
PSW 110 from Pro FX = 11.5k INR
Total = 31.3k INR excluding cables.

how is jbl cinema 300 , has anyone paired jbl cinema 300 with the pioneer vsx 1020 k.

what is the additional cost to upgrade to 7.1 if i buy a pair of speaker in future adding to my 5.1 jbl
