I recently purchased SR608 after lot of research and auditions .
Got it from USA , total purchase cost ~30k .

Now looking for speakers for the same . my budget is around 20k for speakers .
Pls suggest me better options along with cost and availability in Bangalore .

608 was available for 22k in the USA . When did you make the purchase ?

You said after research and auditions , during auditions what speakers did u pair with 608 ?

in 20k are you looking for 5.1 or 2 FS or 2 bookshelf speakers?

Onkyo 608 is on sale in the US at the MRP of 499$ or 27k INR and the best price for same is 379 $ or 17K INR. So may be you bought it online and the price quoted by you includes the customs + shippment.

Even I have decided to buy the same AVR and i will buy it during or little after the x-mas sale, based on the reivews it seems to be a very good AVR hence I would suggest - if possible try to increase your budget if you are looking for 5.1 speaker system. However if you are planning to buy a 2.1 speakers systems and then gradually upgrade you can get decent speakers for 20k INR.

One more thing Onkyo 608 bought from US wont work in India, you will have to connect it via step down transformer. There was some thead on it you can probably make use of search to know more about it
