Star Movies Action on TataSky

Yesterday, I found a new channel Star Movies Action on TataSky. This is an SD channel.

And they removed Fox Movies.. so no net gain. The PQ of the Start action channel is not really good so far. Hope they improves.

As per news, the channel is supposed to be officially launched on June, 2. So they might be testing for now. Let us hope that Fox Action Movies is restored and Star Movies Action is launched as a new channel. Either way, I don't care much for SD channels.

Also noticed the English movies channel's quality is not good if we compare to other SD channels like SAB, MAX etc. Do you think we can get another HD channels after IPL? Last year TS launched Sony after IPL on MAX.

That DTH Platform has an ACUTE shortage of satellite transponder bandwidth. They are squeezing in more channels at the cost of reduced quality for all the other channels....:sad:

'Fox Action Movies' is renamed as 'Star Movies Action' now.... Period.
The same is available in Airtel DTH as well now and earlier there was 'Fox Action Movies' at the same LCN.

The name 'Fox' is mostly used in channels telecast by Star Group in South Asia. But in India, they are using 'Star'. Initially they launched 'Fox Action Movies' that might not have become popular as expected (and it was ad-free mostly). So it seems Star India has just renamed the channel to make it popular as 'Star' name is much familiar in India.

so is tata sky still the best when it comes to service and quality of bradcast? Does it make sense to switch from TS to some other provider.

btw, I can't see the new channel! my TS HD+ box just got replaced.
