Got a 5.1.2 Atmos setup with Polk RtiA5 as Floorstanding speakers with Yamaha RX-V581 and movie sounds outstanding.
Now the problem is while listening to music on 2channel Stereo ... the sound is very harsh and i am not getting that crystal clear clarity for my music. So planning to get a separate Stereo/Power amp to drive the FS just for music ... Now i would like to know if this purchase would make any difference on the sound ? If yes then please suggest some Stereo Amp within a budget of 40k

Most AVRs have a "Music/Source Direct" option which enhances music playback. It is, usually, buried in the menus. Look for it and switch it on. Today's AVRs are as good as integrated amps for music playback, atleast the Marantz models. Check the source too - arw you playin poorly recorded music?

Marantz ( there's one in classified section)
NAD or Cambridge Audio should be your order of preference

Polk RTiA5 them self are on brighter side and it is obvious to get harsh sound with entry-level AVR. Play with AVR setting to get the best sound or wait till your Polk speakers fully break in to get exact sound signature of your combo, then decide for upgradation.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
