I know this may have been answered many times still would love to hear your opinion.
For many years now wanted to build that dream stereo music system and that craving continues.
Finally decided to take the plunge, before starting wanted to understand the best value for money.
I am in no rush and want to build this over time.
Some preferance of mine mentioned below given my past experience.
1) Speakers ( in my opinion the most important component)
- Prefer floor standing, Love the sound of Dynaudio so was looking at Excite X38, happy to look at others (Dont like lean or harsh sounding ones)
2) Power Amp - Accuphase or Mcintosh which can easily drive those floor standers without breaking a sweat (Will something like A-36 suffice or under powered??)
3) PreAmp/Dac - heard good things about RME-AD-2
Budget of 8-10 Lakhs.Can look at used equipment as well if it brings down the cost.
