Stereo Speakers for around 25K

a few questions ..

1)are bookshelf and stereo speakers mean same ..?

2)I am lookinf for some "very good" stereo speakers for my computer with good features and technology.(eg. neodymium transducers etc)

Tarzan, do you already have an amp?
Also what sound card do you have in your computer?
Is this only for music? Or do you wasnt surround sound for movies?

Bookshelf speaker does not necessarily mean stereo speaker. It just denotes the form factor.

we had a thread going where a member reviewed and bought ( ithink) a KEF q300
this is a nice seaker in that budget
ive heard it too and i would recommend it highly for your budget

mrp is 31k i think our fellow member bargained well and got them for 27.5k

the other option is Q100 for 22k or thereabouts

others in that budget that i personally like are PSB B5's ( i do not prefer the B6's though) and i belive you could probably get the monitor audio Br5/bx5 in about the same as the Kef Q300 too
this is also a fine speaker in that budget

KEF Q300 are getting rave reviews.. you can audition and take a call... dali lector1 is also an option u can try..getting a suitable stereo amplifier to drive these speakers is another thing you should think about.

when you say stereo speakers you mean a set of two speakers that is powered by a stereo (2 channel) amplifier. speakers can be bookshelves or floorstanders.

you also need an amp. do you have one or need to buy one
