stereo speakers under 10k

just bought a sony 40BX420 and now looking for a set of speakers,

Conditions
- no amplifier ( and not planing one in the near future)
- size of my living area is 12' x 15' with two large windows
- not planing for a 5.1 ( wiring not possible )

My requirements
- small in size
- budget below 10k
- regular tv 65%, movie 20% and music 15%
- bass not a priority
- clarity and large speaker feel ( sorry not conversant with the technical terms )


was looking at logitech z623 ( since z2300 not available anywhere) or
audio engine 2 ( am i looking at the right speakers or am i completely wrong?)

i am not sure if AE2 will suite my requirement and no one has yet responded on that yet so let me wait and if it suits me, i am definitely interested in those speakers
