Strange Image overimposing

Hi All/Experts,

Please take a look at the below image.

I got this image when moving between the titles of a movie. couple of days back when I was watching Jack Reacher. Bewtween a title and another i got to see the previous image still sticking on the screen. I happen to own Epson 6100. I am not sure what caused this.

I was playing the movie thru Panasonic blu ray player. I thought it might be the source that is the problem. then I played Underworld thru the my media player.. same result.

Any else has seen this before. The person whom you are seeing taking photo is a represntative from EPSON.

We will continue to discuss this further.

Is this image retained? I meant constant and you are seeing all the time?

Hi Sara, No the background images changes as it moves across the changing screens.
Day before I watched skyfall, the dark scenes from previous were following the next scene from the movie. But there is no issue with bright scenes, picture is clear and beautiful. Also Skyfall is used as a reference disk at most places to test black level.

today, i will test same scene without a screen (on wall). let me come back.

I happen to demo a 8100 projector with same content and did not find image overimposing on the screen. that was strange. But this happened on 2 6100 projectors I auditioned. one was mine and the other was a demo projector from EPSON.... strange.
