Sub-woofer

I came across an offer for new Tangent Millenium sub-woofers.When I checked their web-site , I found that these subs are sold with their Millenium Tower speakers as a set. Can anyone please advise whether it would be a good decision to buy such a sub-woofer separately? Thanks!!
