Subwoofer Definitie Technology SC2000

I purchased and brought Definitive Technology Subwoofer Super Cube 2000 from USA.
This was 110 VAC but a year before my son plugged this into 220 volt AC and boom..this gone. I checked/replaced slow blow fuse but of no benefit. Looks like power supply has gone and do hope that amplification circuit should be okay.
I am looking for a suggestion and reference of any mechanics who should be able to fix this before exploring to replace this with new power and amplification board to reuse the cabinet and speakers. Please help.
My location is Gurgaon.

That's a good idea. In case this does not get repaired I would have this as secon option.

Yes you can go for it. In case repair charges are above 5000 go for an external amplifier instead

Usually an active subwoofer is 4-8 ohms so you need not worry about the impedance. If possible open the subwoofer and post images here with magnet size etc which will give an idea about the actual output. Then you can find a matching amplifier
