Hi

Looking to upgrade my subwoofer, Velodyne Impact 10.. Its a good subwoofer but upgrade bug has bitten me...

Any suggestions for a good sub in 50k range... Few subs on my consideration list - Velodyne Eq Max 10; B&W ASW 610, Dali E-12....or any other suggestions.

My HT is a Monitor Audio Rx Silver ..

For 50k budget go for SVS Subwoofer. Major FM owns SVS Subwoofer. Have listened Dali E-12 will not regret if buy.

Why not look at setting up dual sub...... Velodyne Impact 10 is a very good sub, go for another one VI 10...........am sure you will get a more balanced low freq and I am sure you will achieve what you have been looking for. Many satisfied souls with dual sub setup. Think over!!

You can check out for "Bic America F12" Sub, it outperforms any other sub in the segment under 40k price tag (MRP 38k). Check Amazon.com reviews, thousands of highly satisfied audio lovers across the world.
Watching movies with lots of action and deep bass, it will rattle the walls and shake the furniture. You can feel the bass from the F12 like you're inside an actual movie theater!! It sounds great playing music as well seamless combination with any brand/size speakers.

+1 to BIC America

The F12 and even the H100ii are awesome subs...can go as low as 23/24hz....ideal for movies and music....clean smooth bass....

Add one more sub of same model which you have ,and go for Dual Sub setup

How does Dual Sub Setup help. is it like just adding another speaker. Does it improve the response overall?... in any case placement could also become an issue as my HT is in aL shaped drawing dining hall.

Adding a sub will just increase the bass but it will not improve the bass. Only high quality sub can improve the bass. You will get same quality bass louder with dual sub or may be little improvement in uniformity of bass response which you may not looking for.

Yes to SVS sub. Go for it. Save some more and get the PB2000, I recently added this one to my setup.it's a beast and provides deep accurate base.

Dual subs will provide a better bass response, proper balance not necessary that it will make the bass louder.
If placement is a problem, then not much can be done.

+1 for another impact 10. 2 good 10 inch subs are always better than a single 12" sub. You wont regret.

Ahh looks like a good Sub is about to come into he classified.:clapping:

BTW, why have you not considered Polk DSW 550?
