If you’re choosing between ELAC Debut 2.0 and ELAC Debut 3.0 bookshelf speakers, the newer 3.0 series is generally better, but the decision depends on your budget and amplifier.
These speakers are 6-ohm and 87 dB sensitivity, so they need a decent amplifier (50–100W).
Budget Option:

Thanks for your reply dear. My approximate budget is 1.1 L (INR). Living room size is 12ft x 18 ft. Thinking of connecting these gears for TV audio too. Also like to have karaoke singing purpose. Kindly suggest in this regard (suggest suitable amplifier and subwoofer if required). I have HiBy R3 Saber to use as source of audio player. Thanks for your inputs. I really like to have Elac Debut 3 and yet to decide amplifier among suggested by you. For karaoke i will find different way as you mentioned. You might look at speakers such as KEF Q150, Dali series, and Elac Debut. 3.0, Q Acoustics Concept 20, or the horn-loaded Klipsch Reference series. For amplifiers, consider the Willim amp, the Denon 600NE, or the Yamaha. However, I doubt that an audiophile amplifier includes a mic input, though some amplifiers might offer that feature; I'm not sure. Alternatively, you could purchase a small mixer or a microphone preamplifier.
One thing I miss. I have a small suggestion: if you're considering using a microphone for karaoke, it's advisable to buy a portable microphone that works with a boombox; you can buy a decent one at an affordable price these days. When you use a microphone, these bookshelves distort the sound significantly, which can harm the delicate diaphragm. I experimented with these a long time ago and found that they don't perform as well as professional monitor speakers.
Buying from HifiMart is easy; it's a reliable option. You can reach out to them before you buy; they will help you and be very supportive. You have a big listening room, so if you want more bass, you might think about adding a subwoofer later if needed.
If you accept a second-hand integrated amplifier, I'm thinking of selling mine. The reason for selling is I am not using it anymore. If you are interested, I can share details.
Please share the technical details and expected price.Speakers and room decide majority of the sound that you end up hearing. I would spend 70% of the budget on them and then spend most of the 30% on an amp and almost nothing on the DAC at this total budget. Most laptops inbuilt DACs or dongle DACs are really capable these days to give a clean signal. Spend on bass traps and acostic foams on first relection points and a carpet for acoustics. Get the speaker that has the best directivity at your budget.
