suggestion AVR for polk RTI A5

hi,

I bought Polk audio RTI A5 in second sale 1 year used.pls suggestion AVR for polk audio RTI A5 tower speakers?my requirement is 40% music and 60% movie. and looking for good bass. AVR budget is around 40k.

denon 2113 at around 43k..........best choice...
still its my choice..if possible carry ur speaker and hear denon 2113/onkyo 609/yamaha equivalent model..........and then decide.....

You can try Denon 2113 at Profx. Initially i was looking the similar combination (Rti A7 with 2113) and later changed to Onkyo.

You can also consider Onkyo AVRs like 609 or 709.

For 40K you might find an AVR..But to drive the FS, you need good power which the AVR's will not have...

So Either lookout for an used receiver & try adding a stereo power amplifier like Norge 1200 to it so that you can bring the best out of your FS..

Else settle for a new receiver which has pre outs so that you can add a stereo power amplifeir @ a later stage...

Go for 2113.

My friend uses those speakers on his Denon 1612 for home use and is pretty satisfied as well.

More power is good but hyped . i use RTi A9 with denon 3313ci and am quite satisfied. go for 2113 it should be good or 2313 if your budget permits, anyways its a one time investment.
