Suggestion request for speaker brand combination

Hi,

I have Yamaha V667 AVR and Q Acoustics 2020 speaker.
My idea is to buy speakers step by step for the 5.1 HT system.
Presently I find good deals in HiFiVision for Wharfedale, I am interested in it.
But I concern about whether brand combination will work or not (ie Q Acoustics + Wharfedate in 5.1 setup). I see in forums that the same branded speakers are always preferred for complete HT system.

So please tell whether this brand combination can be excellent or it is better to wait for some good offers for Q Acoustics and buy then.
Suppose this combination will work, I might be interested in Wharfedale 9.5 and SW-150.

Please tell us you suggestion on this.

Yamaha + Wharfedale are good combination.

One of the forum members is selling his Yamaha tower speakers for very competitive price, you may want to look at them as well.

With the Wharfedales as front L&R, you can use the 2020's as surround speakers. There should be no issues.
